LA Plays Itself 1972
I think what stood out most to me in this film is the allegory it has to the lives of insects. How in the former sequence of the film in the Southern California mountains there is co-existence and freedom for insects to roam free amongst the plants, whereas in the latter sequence the insects are personal property that are keenly looked over and controlled by the owner.
