It was fine. And familiar. A professionally-done entertainment. If Lord and Miller had directed their version, it may have been surprising entertainment, too. But we have to settle for professionally-done.
Because it was back-story as main story, and since I certainly know a lot about Han Solo’s back story, it was like knowing the punchline for nearly every joke.
Still, there were lots of good bits. And it was a delight to look at.
