A cerebral and gruesome experience, Possessor is about change, technology and the hold it has over us. It’s a fresh take on the possession genre and embraces an assassin who is more like a blood thirsty robot than a human being. The film itself looks magnificent with stunning production design and slow purposeful camera movements. Twisted zooms into buildings like Tasya in someone’s brain.. Every detail and conversation is reflective of the strange situation taking place. The visual sequences showing two people having control over one mind are insanely cool.. Easily one of my favorites this year. 🦋 ❤️🔥
The digital copy I bought came with a few deleted scenes also that were interesting to see. An uncut version, an R rated version and a short film that I’ll check out soon..
