Stephane_Feist’s review published on Letterboxd:
Eighth Grade depicts so well the disorders of adolescence, and the anxiety and pressure felt at school. There are several scenes where I felt I could connect, especially that birthday scene, which was by the way very well directed. There is a lot of goods ideas, the editing is very funny sometimes.
The only flaw: some scenes are a little bit long, and this super father doesn't look real.
Still, a very good film from A24 once again, I cannot wait for the next ones.
