They really don’t make rom-coms like this anymore do they? Absolutely a product of its time, but that’s what makes it so enjoyable. The chemistry between Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo is definitely the film’s greatest asset as they are a prime example of the friends to lovers trope, and it’s their love story that keeps people coming back to this movie over and over again.
