Probably the most hit-or-miss of the four, but I’ll forgive a lot if you open with the best first 90 seconds of a blockbuster in, like, a decade and kick off your last act with a stairway shootout set to “Genesis.”
Very nice to see Shamier go from being the greatest thing in truly terrible TV shows to being a key part of a franchise that deserves him.
Also, Donnie Yen says "Nothing personal" in this movie, opening in theaters on a day NOTHINGPERSONAL is an answer in the NYT crossword? That has to *mean* something.
