Watching The Long Kiss Goodnight got me jonsing for Shane Black's directorial debut. I don't love it quite as much as I did the first time I saw it a year ago - the well-meaning homophobia really stands out in a way that it didn't before - but it is still a well-composed film by a talented filmmaker.
