I watched this and The Shape of Water ~24 hours apart and I found myself having the same reaction to the both of them. Two films that I wanted to like more than I did, that were gorgeous, but whose scripts left me feeling nothing. This is a sweet film, that just never really did much for me.
Thought it was funny in spots. Tilda Swinton's character definitely hit the hardest in that regard.
