How the fuck did Leo not win the Oscar for this performance?

  • Hamilton

I have now watched 1000 films.

I never thought it would be a filmed broadway musical... but here we are.

What a joy this was to watch. I was hooked for the whole 2 hours and 40 minutes!

    Oh no... big yikes.

    Mission: Impossible

It's a good, but not great, start to what I assume is a really dope action franchise. The iconic music was the best. Can't wait to see how this Franchise transforms into what I've seen from the trailers for M:I - Fallout.

  • The Terminator

    The Terminator

So this film was on my local theater lineup but I saw that it was on Prime but damn... I really should have made the trip to the theater for this one. Total big screen action movie material. What a fun film, finally seeing another 80's classic for the first time. Arnold is just so cool in this and I can't wait to check out T2 after hearing about how great it was all these years. Maybe if T2 comes to my theater next weekend, I'll see it on the big screen.

I still love this very charming and beautiful film.

  • Ghostbusters

Finally watching this for the first time. I got to do it in theaters too. I really enjoyed this very cool, classic 80's film though of course there were multiple times where scenes just didn't age well. Can't wait to check out Ghostbusters II hopefully next weekend and Ghostbusters: Afterlife in 2021.

  • Jurassic Park

    Jurassic Park

My theater started showing old 80's films this week. Showing films like E.T., Jaws, Grease, The Goonies, Purple Rain, and Jurassic Park. It was basically Spielberg/Amblin/Warner Bros. week.

As soon as I saw this film on the lineup, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn't miss. Getting to see one of the most perfect films, in my bold opinion, on the big screen, is a dream. Jurassic Park is one of my All-Time Favorites and man was it even…

  • E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

    E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial

What a wonderful, wonderful film. Getting to rewatch this after not seeing it in probably over 10 years, plus seeing it in a theater on the big screen was a beautiful experience. It had been so long since I saw this film that it was almost like going in for the first time. I remembered a lot of the initial E.T. interaction scenes and the flying on the bike scenes but there were a lot of beautiful moments that I…

    Jumanji: The Next Level

Super fun movie, while Jack Black had the first movie, Kevin Hart stole the show in this one.

  • The Handmaiden

    The Handmaiden

    Well, that was absolutely brilliant.

If only films like this were recognized in America all these years. It took Letterboxd for me to even know it was a thing, unfortunately.
