James Crowley’s review published on Letterboxd:
Commando John Wick's Raid on Fire.
The current requisite gun-fu, digitally-stitched oners, neon and color-grading are slathered over a beefcake bloodbath with the malfunctioning moral compass of an 80s actioner. Plays like the martyrdom video of an international PMC turned terror cell conducting a multi-day attack on a sovereign nation. Too stupid to take seriously, too ugly (aesthetically and otherwise) to champion. I'm an unapologetic John Wick fancier and Atomic Blonde apologist so there was a chance I'd connect with this but I just found it depressing.
