A very informative insight into arguably the most innovative and consistent film studio of all time. The origins of Pixar through to its partnership with Disney is in itself a film concept I would pay to watch and forms a large chunk of this compelling documentary. Seeing this close unit of friends build a relationship and love for computer animation from the 1970’s, through various guises including a division of Lucasfilm, to the investment of Apple founder Steve Jobs is both interesting and inspiring. What is even more impressive is Pixar’s ability to continually produce quality films that capture both our imaginations and demand for storytelling.
