I'm not too familiar with Tony Scott's work so I can't really comment but I feel like the direction and style complements the film well

very fast-paced but never feels too rushed or too slow
Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper are great in their few scenes and James Gandolfini is just nuts
also I love that Tarantino's idea of a meet-cute is watching kung-fu movies together

very dreamlike in that Lynchian fashion where you're never quite sure where the line between reality and delusion lies
but yeah I loved this
definitely worth the wait to see this in the cinema (I may even consider going back and seeing it again while I can)
