THIS WORLD IS A BITCH, GIRL, DON’T END UP IN A DITCH, GIRL.

This film was wild. Margot Robbie was incredible and really went all out for this role (as did Janney). Before watching I, Tonya I was the “I’m supposed to feel bad for that bitch? I don’t!” lady but now I actually have some sympathy for Tonya Harding and the backlash she received after the incident. The effects of growing up in a toxic evironment with an abusive mother was truly evident here. We’ve all been shown really just one side of this story so I appreciate films like this that open up opportunitities to view people/situations through a different perspective.
