The way it makes comments about centuries of racial injustice without making the film about centuries of racial injustice is awesome. It knows it's importance in the history of mainstream storytelling and yet it isn't self-important. It shows off Africa without hiding Africa's problems. It's magnificently well-balanced.
I like Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa but I sometimes felt the character was a bit flat. A bit like Cap in Civil War - he's the hub around which everything else moves. The supporting cast is totally awesome.
The world building is mostly great although the Wakandan technology is just a little too amazing for my taste.
