  Pros:
  -A visual feast of folklore imagery so awesomely Eggers in its perverse storybook nature.
  -Anya Taylor-Joy as a silver haired witch princess mushroom foraging femme fatale.
  -That one shot of the two of them in pristine wool cloaks like a mythological Carhartt ad.

  Cons:
  -Swords as a thinly veiled dick metaphor.
  -Alexander Skarsgård talking to his Sword.
  -Alexander Skarsgård’s terrible posture.

  i could have watched five more hours of this.

  What does it mean to be a lesbian, a black lesbian, a young black lesbian, a young black lesbian dating a white lesbian who is “into” black lesbians???? What does it mean when you are a young black lesbian filmmaker trying to make films about young black lesbians but there are none yet so you make the first film about a young black lesbian AS a young black lesbian BY a young black lesbian?!!!!
