First half some of the funniest shit I’ve ever seen on screen. Second half devolves into mostly pretentious, pointless drivel that left our entire cinema yawning and groaning. Just felt like Ari Aster really focused on “not being too serious” which meant shoving in awful jokes in-between annoying, badly written monologues that span the rest of the movie after he escapes the house.
End sex scene was so funny though.
