Romeo + Juliet ★★★★★

I'm still increasingly in awe of how they didn't change a word here (okay they might've removed some but still) and it was as cool to teenagers at the time as Clueless and Titanic. That in itself makes me cry, let alone once you layer in Craig Armstrong's score etc and the fact that Leo and Claire are both so damn beautiful it makes my heart hurt into the mix. And just literally different lines of Shakespeare make more sense to me every time, I watch some if not all of Luhrmann's films every year around Valentines but this is the one that keeps growing on me.
