Dammit… I thought I posted my review of this before it ended but then I paused like 15 minutes before the end to go to a Second Life show and my charger had dislodged and my whole computer died half an hour later lol, so this isn't gonna be great… anyway I had written something similar to what I've said before about movies like this, basically tween/teen movies mid-nineties when I was a tween/teen and how, seriously, these things are where I reconstruct myself as a nearly 40 trans girl who has not been given the life I a) should have had and b) have been promised. It's a simple and specific-to-me pleasure, but coupled with the thirtysomething (Melanie Mayron directing and Peter Horton acting) and Alex Mack (Larisa Oleynik and Natanya Ross) reunions, it's just… more special than it should be…
