Doctor Who: Wild Blue Yonder 2023
When bad CGi is used to great effect. This is RTD writing something close to the level of his earlier stories like Midnight and Turn Left. Autumn Sonata 1978
This may be the most perfect film ever made. The greatest performances ever captured on film. The most emotionally perfect camerawork and lighting, and characters with so much depth to their relationships that they feel so real. Autumn Sonata just feels so honest. With such a small scale, such a small cast, taking place over only two days, but you feel like you know these people’s entire lives. This is a film I know will stay with me for my entire life.
