There really isn't much intrigue or suspense for a film in a genre built on those. The baddies are uninteresting and unless I snoozed through it you never learn why they broke bad in the first place. There just isn't much here and the film doesn't do anything interesting in the genre.
It's a movie and it happened and Zoe is extremely hot in every frame.
Awful characters, zero scares, snoozer of a folklore legend, and I don't know what the hell happened at the end, but I think the moral of the story is that if your partner cheats, you need to forgive them like right away.
This single location torture thriller is a confusing mess that ends up being pretty decent way to spend 80 minutes of your day. The score does so much work for this film, and really changes how you experience the movie. It’s used so well throughout the runtime, and despite playing for almost the entire movie it never got annoying. Really surprised by this one. The terrible poster makes it look like a generic action flick, but this movie was a mindfuck. It's somewhat predictable, but that really didn't hurt the experience for me and I'll be rewatching this soon because I just really like what this movie has got going on and what it has to say. Definitely recommend it.
