Around what I thought this was going to be. A decent but nowhere near amazing CGI monster killing fest. I liked the monsters but one is a dragon and tons are just giant spiders, so I wouldn't say they tried real hard for originality. Milla and the native guy coming to terms with each other felt a touch forced. I would rather rewatch the Resident Evil movies.

I only played a little Monster Hunter, did they set the world as an alternate dimension in the games too?
