I felt like I was watching a playthrough of some gonzo Phillips CD-i or Sega CD game. The perfect bridge between Raimi's splatter horror films and his superhero films—while also carrying on a unique aesthetic of its own. The editing in this is literally insane and I ate up every second of it.

Something about this film's visual flair and personality is just so... fun! I honestly can't even describe the post-ironic joy I get while watching this film. Perhaps I am no longer jaded by what is now known as "cringe culture", but I find myself genuinely enjoying this…

I pine for more films that look THIS beautiful. Like, wow, I was blown away over how beautiful every single frame of this film is.
