    Amadeus being the title of a film that is mainly about Salieri, tells you all you need to know about the nature of this film, a film that starts by presenting Mozart as a half-deity of some sort, only to expose him as the character we'd get to know later in the film, a childish man with innate talent who cares about his art, Salieri has the passion but he lacks the talent, and our story goes from there.
