Move over Greta Gerwig
I was justifiably excited for Barakah Meets Barakah, for it is the first “Rom-Com” from my home country. And what a disappointing experience that was.
The two main characters were completely insufferable. The whole film depends on the audience feeling for them and liking them. But it fails miserably.

This was my most anticipated movie of the year due to its amazing director Dinnes Villeneuve.
First things first, the cast is superb from Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner to Forest Whitaker. Amy Adams performance was fantastic, which the movie holds a lot of weight on. I fell in love with this women when I first saw her amazing performance in Doubt (fantastic movie check it out if you haven't seen it yet).

Since this movie is an Oscar contender I will mention weather the thing I'm talking about should be nominated or not.
First of all I was interested in this movie from the beginning because I loved Whiplash and I became more interested when I knew Gosling & Stone will play the leads.
