    Oh, Wondie...

I feel as if I should preface this by saying I ADORE Wonder Woman. She was the first female superhero I was introduced to and she is, by far, my favorite in the entire DC universe. I have also, as most of you know, been against Gal Gadot being cast here from the very beginning. She was too thin for my taste, not "amazonian" enough, and she "couldn't act". I don't know a thing about the Mad Max franchise. All I remember from the first three movies is that they somehow involve Mel Gibson, Tina Turner and some…

    Phoenix

    ★★★½

I guess I was expecting... more. It has very nice visuals - and I adored the dark scenes, especially the one where we first see the club and the one with the train - but the script left me cold.

Furthermore, I agree with whoever said they completely ruined the best supporting character by killing her completely out of nowhere. Sure, you can read between the lines and infer her motivations, it is not at all like they bothered being…
