While it's nothing extraordinary, this was still a completely serviceable movie and a lot better than I expected it to be. Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake are both ridiculously attractive and charming so I'm completley fine with watching them roll around together for 2 hours. Will Gluck remains a director to watch, I think this could've been a lot schlockier in less capable hands. Could've done without the "emotional"/"dramatic" beats at the end but otherwise its fine. I appreciate that it comments on romantic comedy tropes because I felt that helped me excuse the more conventional moments that occur near the end.
