Everyone seems to have a hot take for this film, so I will also give mine because I'm jealous of every one expressing their opinion freely except for me. I think it was a good film but it's definitely my least favorite Clint Eastwood film so far. I felt that it was slightly out of focus and bordered on being too self-indulgent. I don't always mind self-indulgence too much, but the movie isn't fully committed to it, so it just ends up being sort of distracting at best and pathetic at worst. That being said, I thought it was funny and sometimes clever.
This 25 minute short takes place between the first and second movies. Po must teach a class of children the basics of Kung Fu... and what better way to motivate and teach them than to tell them how the Furious Five got to be who they are today?
