unexpectedly fun and rather fresh. loving will smith's fresh genie from bel-air and how he made his character works in a more modern swag-ish rather than flamboyant take. people are bummed by the underwhelming recycle of a whole new world so it's time to bump up will smith's rendition of arabian nights, my personal fave since forever. it's amazing. funny enough, you won't feel guy ritchie directing this until 2/3 of the movie.
also, naomi scott is so so gorgeous.
