I liked it better than the first one.
I think the story is more complex here. Borrowing from Tumblr: that escalated quickly. It twists and twists and twists and then blooms like spring. The supporting characters are hella gorgeous and I love every cameos here and there. Also, Marvel upped their CGI game so hard! If you think Doctor Strange was bonkers, this movie is GotG x3. Vibrant, vivid, rich, gorgeous, shameless.
My only complain is that there were too many songs to the point I miss the usual orchestra BGM. Also some scenes felt a wee dull because the dialogue didn't support the visual but nothing bothered much.
I might have to add that this movie is kinda nsfw, rather brutal despite nothing is bloody or gore-y. If you want to take children, please be advised. In all, have fun!
P. S. There were five post credit scenes so stick to the veeeeery end (but seriously, who still walk out of theater before Marvel Studios logo appears? Psh, amateurs.)
