This is a great film to watch for a court room drama that doesn't insist on playing up the court room part. The small court with few people in it made this whole film feel so much more real and intimate. And the fact that they didn't go out of their way to have an arbitrary scene where the kid is on the stand is great and helps show that the father really did want what was best for his son regardless of what he wanted.
I went into this film with high hopes but low expectations. After watching it the film fit more into expectations than hopes.
For me there were three major problems that stopped the film from being great.
1. I do not think that Cavill does a good job at playing Superman. I didn't in Man of Steel and I don't now. He has moments when he shines, I thought he did a fine job during the actual fight with Batman but…
