on today's episode of "was this movie slightly predictable or have my mother and i just seen too many movies?"

kept me at the edge of my seat but it had it's insane moments and twists (some of which i guessed, but i think i just need to stop theorising constantly and start watching the films instead). the most important takeaway - STORM REID IS A STAR! the final girl potential is very real, hollywood make it happen

seeing an indian girl not go back to that stupid british boy who mistreated her is such a good change, call that shit colonial reparations!

im giving this 5 stars for many reasons-
    1. the main obstacle wasn't coming to terms with her culture or racism. also, there was no misrepresentation in this at all for the first time in a long time.
    2. abhay deol is so good looking
    3. rhea has my heart
    4. the bollywood type hindi number at the end that's sung by SUNIDHI CHAUHAN

such a fun, light hearted film i absolutely loved this :)
