Letterboxd — Your life in film

Got emotional watching this.

For what it is: PERFECTION.

Awful.

It stands against my rules of movie watching. AKA movies where animals talk. But if you push that little detail aside, the movie reminded me of the Ocean's movies. Pretty dynamic, entertaining and with funny moments.

has its moments, but meh.

Finally one MCU movie I fully enjoyed.

I rewatched it with an open mind and it is sooooo friggin' boring. Just as the rest of the MCU movies, with the exception of the Captain America films. It gets half a star for the soundtrack. The soundtrack is amazing!

First half is pure science fiction.
Second half is pretty good.

Its a RomCom.
It has good music.
Sarah Silverman is in it.
The story is pretty realistic.
Whats not to like?
100% recommended.

As someone who is not a lover of animated movies I enjoyed this film very much. I m loving that Mirabel, the lead, is an empowered female.

On the other hand, is it me or Lin Manuel Miranda's music is starting to sound repetitive.

Extra brownie points because no animals spoke in the movie.

No wonder Hopkins won the Oscar.
