Rebecca’s review published on Letterboxd:
I didn't watch the trailer, so I didn't know what to expect but let me just tell you that it was not this. I need 3 business days to process whatever happened in this movie. Those 2 hours+ were really intense and complex, I'm struggling to wrap my mind and emotions around this. Regardless, I love it.
All I knew was that this movie is a thriller (I had heard from a friend who has seen it). So, the quiet first half of the movie kept me wondering when shit was gonna hit the fan. Still, despite the rosy picture portrayed, there was a strong undertone of creepiness.
The second half of the movie literally had my friend and I gripping our seats and holding onto each other. Absolutely amazing how they built up the suspense and shock factor by interjecting the horror scenes with picturesque, beautiful ones. I need a moment.
Goodbye. Please watch the movie.
10/10 would watch again.
