I have so much to say, but I know that a certain someone will read this and I don't want to spoil a single thing for him, so I'm going to keep this very short and sweet!
Park Chan-wook has made another FABULOUS film! Its so goddamned beautiful and the score fits every single piece of the film to perfection.
The Handmaiden was both everything I expected it to be and nothing like what I expected it to be at the same time. There were so many surprises that makes this stand out from Park's previous films, but so much of him still throughout.
Was really cool to see a whole new cast, although I did miss some of those old familiar faces that I have grown accustomed to seeing in Park's films.
I highly recommend y'all get out to see it as soon as you get the chance, but don't take your mum along, that shit be awks!
I wish I'd seen an earlier session, so I could have gone another time! Can't wait to see it again!
