living so that last night feels like a past life...

Dissecting art that deeply moves me feels like taking something away from it. And simply throwing superlatives at it feels like taking something away from your review. So instead, you'll find some lines that needed to get out of my system below, wrote them down in the library the day after I watched this film for the first time about a week ago because I couldn't focus on my work. This is going straight to No. 1 on my annual film list so far. It's not bold to make a movie like this, it's batshit insane. If you want to watch it and you don't speak German, please consider watching it in OV and let me know about your experience. Because that way, you live through the night from Victoria's perspective and you only understands what she understands. It could turn out to be a thrill or just a bad idea, but I regret the fact that I didn't have the opportunity to try it out. And if anyone is interested in my library-thoughtfarts here, I offer a trade: watch the movie, comment below and I'll translate it for you. I need to spread this film. Because after all, it's the BEST GERMAN MOVIE EVER lol jk nvm

(Oh and one last thing, it kinda feels wrong to put this out there without saying anything about the score from Nils Frahm (as well as DJ Koze and Deichkind). But since I'm not about superlatives, I can't really say anything here. Still feels wrong though.)
