Yeah, so I've heard. I was actually planning to use SATANTANGO to kick-off my tour of Tarr's entire canon, but after unsuccessfully being able to acquire WERCKMEISTER HARMONIES and THE TURIN HORSE (at least at the time), I kind of gave up on that idea pretty quickly. I'll need to scour the internet again to see if I can find either of them.

Thanks, and I agree, it's a gorgeous and hypnotic sequence, and it doesn't weigh itself down with strenuous crypticism (a big problem I have with *some* of Tarkovsky's labor-intensive work, or for someone more fond of the intellectual symbology -- Bergman).
