Ted Santi’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s almost good. I supposed it knew what kind of movie it was, but that hardly excuses it from being semi-bullshit. It isn’t intelligent in any sense of the word; the acting is a solid indicator of that, and Vogt-Roberts’s direction is honestly completed unsuited for a blockbuster. Visually it’s pretty sound, but it’s all of that in place of passable writing. However, I can’t deny that there are plenty of fun moments and it certainly isn’t forgettable. It’s a good action movie for… let’s say, explosion enthusiasts and 12 year olds?
