Ted Mills’s review published on Letterboxd:
If I didn't know this was directed by Park Chan-wook I would never have guessed, his more OTT flourishes are kept at bay for the service of the story. I wanted to be more into this than I was, if I had to say why I think the crime (who *and* how-dunnit) takes up mental space where the romance should be. Well yes, that's exactly what Hitchcock mixes in Vertigo, so what's missing? Here it's tougher to fall in love with Seo-rae b/c she reads so early as a manipulator. Probably needs a second watch.
Watched with my mom at Lighthouse Cinema Petone while she was here visiting. The seats were so comfy she drifted right off. I don't blame the movie.
