Ted Mills’s review published on Letterboxd :
Wanted to like it more than my current rating, but it drags in parts (near the end) and it's intentionally impossible to follow. Still, so much to love: Joaquin Phoenix's gallery of facial expressions, Martin Short's cameo, Anderson's love of long takes (so rare these days!), Jonny Greenwood's excellent taste in music (Can!), the precise capturing of pot-laced paranoia at the beginning of the '70s, Pynchon's characters coming to life with all their odd names intact. More please!
