Second viewing of Paul Thomas Anderson's adaptation of Pynchon's novel. Trying to understand where a relationship went wrong, trying to understand where the '60s went wrong, all hard to do under a marijuana haze of paranoia, where nothing gets resolved to anybody's satisfaction and btw the entire case was over really before you started investigating. Thanks for playing! Understandably frustrating for those expecting a neo-noir, but I think that's Pynchon's and PTA's point.
