War Dogs ★★½

This is Philips' Good Fellas shot like it's a Tony Scott film. Obvious music choices, dumdum voiceover literally telling you what you've just been watching, and a complete waste of Ana de Armas as long-suffering-girlfriend. Nice to see Kevin Pollack as usual, Jonah Hill entertaining, but nothing that he hasn't done before. Between the U.S. government and the arms dealers, not much here to root for, so the film comes down to "girlfriend is more important than fake friend"
