The abuse of indigenous children in colonial state care has been the theme of the last couple of years, in Canada, America, and elsewhere, all that repressed state violence returning to speak its truth. This short doc focuses on one of the early heroes of the movement for truth, Dr. Oliver Sutherland, and it does exactly what it needs to do: let the victims speak, let history show its face, and remind us what still needs to be fixed.
