finally a biopic that actually captures the pace and insanity of the life it depicts, the first act more thrilling and nauseating than a rollercoaster.
it had a fairytale quality to it - austin butler remains so pure, so beautiful like a saint, "the most beautiful boy in the world" - and I wish it had gotten a bit dirtier, but glad to see someone making a biopic with love. it’s a rare feat to come out of the cinema dizzy and rattled in 2022!
