Daelyn Lizzy’s review published on Letterboxd:
Delightful. This story of a teenage princess delivered unto the swankiest cutting-edge, hipster scene on earth fills our senses as it filled hers. The spot-on fashion show/inane tradition swirly appropriately gives one the feeling of being in an alien culture. Marie was bundled off to a foreign land with no one and nothing from her former life to comfort her. Once she comes into her own in this highly structured world she finds a feast of power. The musical choice of punk-rock hits communicates the feeling of being the hippest and coolest that the super-rich style mavens would enjoy. So much fun to see how that music enfolded the 18th century visual so perfectly
