Needed more owl. Finished this and the Netflix episodes this evening.
It’d been 17 years since I’d seen this and I barely remembered any of it. I can kind of see why now. It’s a bit long in parts. At times there’s too much and not enough Hannibal and Sterling. I was surprised how much of this the Hannibal tv series covers, and covers more beautifully.
That said, as expected Ridley Scott pulls off a few great looking shots, but they feel few and far between. And at times the editing feels like his brother Tony covered for him while Ridley was out sick or playing hooky.
