A beautiful yet unsettling portrayal of capitalism, greed and religion set during the early oil boom in America.

Wow. Just wow. It's rare that I find myself at a loss for words after watching a movie but PTA's There Will Be Blood has certainly left an impression.

Daniel Day-Lewis is obviously the highlight here, this is truthfully the first DDL performance I've seen and I can already tell his acting work is master class, Daniel Plainview truly is a…

Has some good moments and an interesting concept. The club and final scene shine but I thought the rest was incredibly dull.

Admittedly I'm not a huge fan of Mann's filmography, Heat was definitely his best but I find his direction a little tiresome, this was far too long for the story it was telling and Cruise didn't really fit in the role of the villain like I was hoping.

Simple and incredibly effective, Prey is my favourite entry in the Predator franchise, something I wasn't expecting whatsoever.

I'm usually heavily against prequels when it adds nothing to the story but here it works beautifully.

Amber Midthunder is a badass and there's heavy Revenant vibes throughout, the scenery and camerawork are absolutely stunning. Unlike most of the sequels it doesn't piss about with exposition and gives exactly what any Predator fan is looking for, action, gore and a great hero lead.

One of the most original and creative horror films of the past decade.

Carries an uncomfortable tone throughout that jumps up to 11 during the last half an hour.

    Crazy.

+ Some of the finest cinematography I've seen in film, Greig Fraser does it again following Dune and this time it's even more beautiful.
+ Pattinson delivers one of the most hauntingly accurate portayals of Wayne/Batman.
+ We're only in March and 2022 is truly starting to feel like the year of Zoë Kravitz
+ A detective movie as much as it is a Batman movie, this film takes a lot of inspiration from titles like 'Zodiac' and 'Se7en.'…
