This is my first ever Indian film that I’ve seen and boy, is it good! The characters are great the story is fantastic , and the settings are vibrant. But what really sets this movie apart is the music. There’s sung songs from the main character that are just so catchy that you can’t help but sing along(if you’re an Indian, which I’m not). The score is also a delight because it fits the spirit of whatever scene the movie is on. This is just a delightful movie and I hope to see more in the future(I’m looking at you, 3 idiots 👀)

The characters are meh, the story is simple but effective at some times, and the scenes are pretty half and half: I liked the house interrogation scene, felt the bar scene was unneeded, and was outraged at the end. Stealing a bicycle is not a good way to…

I saw this for Family Day and BY GOD, is this good. It’s tragic, sad, and heartfelt when it needs to be. The story and sound design shine. I also like the characters, particularly riz Ahmed and Paul Raci. This one is just so memorable I can’t see it not being accepted by the Academy
