    Justice League

    ★★★

I think I liked it. I definitely liked parts.

-The comedy felt somewhat out of place in areas, other jokes worked.
    -Cyborg was so damn boring.
    -Flash was good.
    -Wonder Woman was better.
-Batman and Aquaman were ok too.
-Superman now has a sense of humour since dying, probably a good thing. Just felt weird after his last two outings.
-The cutaways to that random family were weird.
-I felt let down by the ending, it felt as though it…

    Murder on the Orient Express

    ★★★

Having read the book only last year, I was surprised to find all I could remember is the train gets stuck in the snow (spoilers) and, y’know, there’s a murder (spoilers?). I couldn’t for the life of me remember who gets murdered or who did the murder. But I remember enjoying the book though.

Anyway, the film! It was good. A lot funnier than I expected. I loved the cast and there’s some gorgeous shots scattered throughout. I’d happily watch more adventures with Kenneth Branagh’s Poirot, in fact, I hope I get to see more.

Probably a day of release job in all fairness.

(What an absolutely mind bending and bonkersly fun ride from M(arvel) C Escher.

A problem I now have with the MCU is this; if Dr Strange becomes a member of the Avengers then how can they ever have a sizeable threat? Or any threat for that matter? He can turn back time and alter reality itself. He'll be like "Sit down lads, eat your shawarma. I got this.")

Probably not, but not for reasons you might think.

(I really like Mike Flanagan films, and this is no exception. Thank god this didn't go on the cinema though, as it allowed me to pause a certain scene multiple times both during the build up and the actual thing to allow me to go get air, have a think about something else and generally not pass out. It absolutely went through me.

Really good film. Even with the bit that knocked me for six, I'd still recommend it, just not sure I'd want to see it again. It's on Netflix so give it a look.)
