    2023's Shazam! Fury of the Gods is a very surprisingly great DC flick with so many fun and vibrant different characters with very good CGI and worldbuilding making for a great theater experience.     2020's Children of the Corn was made in 2020 and released then but wasn't available for anyone globally until this year and sadly is another poor entry in the Children of the Corn franchise. It's full on shitty unknown actors besides Bruce Spence who gets little to no screentime here sadly.     Holy shit! 2014’s Whiplash is a fucking masterpiece. Directed by Damien Chazelle of Babylon and La La Land fame, he absolutely rules here, both in direction and story, along with cinematography.

    The cast here is so so good, both in Miles Teller as Neiman and J.K. Simmons as Terence Fletcher and together they give us such iconic scenes. To add on top of that, you’ve also got Supergirl AKA Melissa Benoist and Paul Reiser in this flick.
