It's 9AM here and I'm still thinking about Raw.
I'm honestly at a loss for words right now trying to talk about this (and this seems to be a pattern in other reviews I've read).
I like horror films but I'm generally not a fan of gross-out and really gorey films, but I think the fact that Julia Ducournau incorporated coming of age elements in the film is what helped me get into this. It's interesting to see how Justine handles her new found craving because of how she is.
The sound design is amazing in this. Just thought I'd point that out.
